Pass Christian Historical Society Calendar of Events 2026

Unless otherwise noted:

General Membership Meetings are on the 2nd Monday at 7P October and November. There is also a Holiday gathering the first Monday in December for the December Membership meeting. Special General Membership meetings may be scheduled during the year.

Monthly Luncheons are on the 4th Monday of the month at 12N.

Please note that reservations are required for the luncheons.

Monday, January 26, 2026  12N Luncheon with Speaker

Scott Tilton with Nous Foundation (the New Orleans Foundation for Francophone Cultures) will speak on “Musiques-An Anthology of Louisiana Music in French and Creole." He will screen a short (22 minute) documentary and also speak on the topic.

Dr. Trevor Smith, head of History and Geography Dept at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Perkinston, will speak of the History of the Banana Boat Trade from South America to first New Orleans and then Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Jere Nash will speak on “The History of Reconstruction in Mississippi”   

Sunday, May 3, 2026 2P - 5P Tour of Homes

This year’s featured homes are: 715 East Scenic Drive; 723 East Scenic Drive; 923 East Scenic Drive and 120 West Scenic Drive (at 2:30p).

We have 4 outstanding, really fabulous, homes on the Tour PLUS we will be celebrating America’s 250th and our Pass Christian Historical Society’s 60th BIRTHDAYS!!! 🇺🇸🎉🏨🥳

Your Historical Society will be featured on the Tour as site for the Tour Tea! We will be requesting food donations and Cook’s Day Off, Ruth ODwyer, will be Tea Chair! 

The Billy Bourdin Memorial Library will be on full display with our very own Archivist, Bruce Stinson, and local Historical Author, Catherine Myers, on hand to show you around and answer questions. 

Tickets will be available to purchase online starting soon. Tickets will be sold at the society during April and day of the Tour. 30.00 pre and 35.00 day of. 

More information will be coming.

Dr. Rebecca. Tuuri, professor of history at University of Southern Mississippi, will be be speaking on the women’s suffrage movement. She was president of Mississippi Historical Society last year.
